The company was founded by Chris Knight, who says that it was very much ‘born of frustration’. The early noughties was a revolutionary time in the home technology world. This was pre iPhone/iPad/Streaming and new technologies were appearing on a seemingly daily basis. Many were launched before they were ready and to a customer base who often didn’t understand what they were buying. A lot of the people selling this were ‘nerds’ which often resulted in overly complicated systems which did little but confuse and annoy clients, adding little to their lives other than stress!

Chris’s modus operandi has always been to keep things simple and he believes that if a client needs to be shown how to use a system, then something has gone wrong; it should always be intuitive. Chris is proud of the fact that Perfect Integration hasn’t once handed over a project where the lighting keypads are not engraved - something he knows is far too often not the case, even today.

Chris has volunteered on a number of industry committees and following many years of awards success, was asked to join the CEDIA judging panel in 2021.
